Job Description

As our Analytics Specialist (m/f/x), you'll help turn data into one of Tipico's strongest advantages. Working with modern BI and analytics technologies, you'll build and improve reporting solutions that make data easy to access, understand, and use. You'll take ownership of dashboards, reporting processes, and data quality, helping teams make faster, better-informed decisions every day. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you'll translate requirements into practical solutions and continuously raise the bar for how data supports the business. If you enjoy solving problems, taking ownership, and always looking for a better way, you'll fit right in.

• You develop engaging dashboards and reporting solutions that help teams make smarter, data-driven decisions.
• You maintain reporting datasets, inventories, and governance frameworks to ensure data remains accurate, trusted, and accessible.
• You optimise reporting processes through automation, scheduling, and monitoring to improve efficiency and reliability across the business.
• You collaborate with stakeholders to strengthen data quality, security, and accessibility throughout our analytics ecosystem.
• You empower business users by providing technical guidance and training that encourages the effective use of self-service analytics tools.
• You deliver timely reports and analytical solutions that support operational and financial decision-making.
• You investigate ad-hoc business requests and transform complex datasets into clear, actionable insights.
• You drive continuous improvement by enhancing processes, documentation, and reporting standards across Analytics operations.

Qualifications

Which Skills You Should Bring to the Pitch

• Education. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Experience. At least 2 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, or a similar data-focused role.
• BI Tools. Hands-on experience building dashboards and reports using BI platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, Domo, or similar tools.
• SQL & Excel. Advanced SQL and Excel skills, enabling you to analyse, manipulate, and present complex datasets effectively.
• Data Management. Solid understanding of database technologies and experience working with AWS Redshift.
• Data Workflow Tools. Experience working with tools such as Jenkins and Airflow to automate, schedule, and manage reliable reporting workflows.
• Communication. Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business insights and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Problem Solving. Strong analytical thinking with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Languages. Our team consists of more than 50 different nationalities working together to achieve Tipico's mission. English is the way we communicate within the company.
